I have a friend that owns a video game store. He has a 80gb fat ps3 that is on 3.4.1. I have a slim 120gb that is on 3.5.0. I told him that I wanted to trade him because of the 3.4.1. Is there a big difference between the fat and slim? Also, do you have any kind of timeline when or if 3.50 jailbreak will happen?

Mann one thing I have learned is you never say NEVER, because just 1 year ago we were saying NO-ONE will ever hack the PS3 look at it now fully exploitable well not fully but you know what I mean. To answer his questions no-one really knows it could be 2 weeks or 2 years because as already stated a Dev Mode that was previously in 3.41 was removed but people will find a way around this. And there is no difference other that SONY claims the SLIM can never get "YLOD" while the Phat model is most likely sure to get it one some point or another.

Sorry to say but I think your dreaming if you really think PS Jailbreak is going to release new firmware versions for anything ... but those versions below 3.41 ... that PS Jailbreak does not currently support.
