Do you have anything else on the usb? make sure nothing else is plugged into the ps3 apart from the usb and just have ps3ftp server pkg on it.

ROFL!!!!! Your using a normal usb. There is a "modded" usb just to perform these stuff(Like install ftp server)

hes talking about using a development board like a AT90USBKEY. That you use to jailbreak the ps3. Obviously this fello hasnt read my message properly... lol kids these days.

you put the PS3FTP pkg. ON A USB. ..(dunno what the hell hes on about a modded usb)... just to confirm what i just said... u jailbreak your ps3 with a jb device.. THEN insert a usb with the ftp pkg.on it.

2- The ftp program MUST be on the modded usb (It comes with the backup manager)
3- Never think your better than anyone, because apparently, You Fail!

the only thing a modded usb.. or else know as a development board.. is used to jailbreak the ps3.

I personally took the free way by using my ipod touch 1g and jailbroke my ps3 via that way.

Once u jailbreak it.. you simplily add ps3ftp pkg. and backupmanager to a NORMAL FUKN USB and go to install pkgs and install them. YOU DONT ADD THEM TO THE IPOD/DEVELOPBOARD!

What do u mean it comes with the backup manager??? you download the manager... the same as the ps3ftp pkg and add to usb to install AFTER you have jailbrokn your ps3.

Actually, you are wrong. PKG files can be loaded from regular USB memory sticks.

Thats is NOT what you have been claiming. Once a PS3 is jailbroken you can load everything from regular memory sticks.

The backup manager does not live on the jailbreak.
