What you will need:
You must login or register to view this content. this will convert your home made video clip to the .BIK format used by games.
Video Creation Software.
If your video isnt saved to .mpg. you will need sofware to convert, as RadTools dont seem to like .avi, i had to convert a .mpg.
FTP Server or Comgenies Filemanager for transfering files.
And of course a jailbroken console, with your own games backed up.

You will need to find the intro video, on MySims Sky Heros, it had four intro video’s, which are named:
HD_43_NTSC_SIMS.BIK
HD_43_PAL_SIMS.BIK
HD_169_NTSC_SIMS.BIK
HD_169_PAL_SIMS.BIK

Tips
Try and make the video last no longer than 12 seconds
Also try making the original video a high resolution, as RadTools seems to take away some quality when converting.
Edit: It seems that adding to high resolution, RadTools doesn’t seem to like it very much

lol Ya no one would want this, first of all more people would want custom ps3 boot videos like PSP has when turning the system on. I never would have thought anyone would make somthing as pointless as this. "game" intros? And it seems kind of a pain in the ass to even put together one. I guess it opens other possibilities down the road though....I guess. But I'm not too impressed.

Stop moaning and be thankful people are releasing concepts like this.

What if you wanted to start a website which allows uploading and downloading of PS3 Backups. One of the best ways to advertise would be by creating a custom intro with your website address on it.

Think about it, it could be very useful. Don't post if you think it is useless.

While I like your attitude, everyone is entitles to an opinion. At least in most places... Anyway, your idea on advertising is really nice. Though, if SONY/developers/publishers get a hold of these backups, you're screwed.

Oh I agree. But the opinion was just being negative towards this post. I also agree that it could be bad if Sony found that out, it could lead the owner of that particular site into some deep trouble.
