Only I haven't been able to find this software once I insert the drive in order to run it on my PS3. Same goes for any other files I try to transfer to the PS3, like PS3 FTP server.

Doesn't matter if I go to saved data utility or anything else. I click on the USB device and it says "no files saved" and when I press triangle, it just says "information" showing how much space the device holds.

So can someone help me out on how I successfully take files from my PC to the PS3 and run them? Thanks.

And this can be done to copy any non-media files like modded patches for MW2 or the Ps3 FTP server needed to host hacked lobbies?

I've already downloaded FileZilla but just wasn't sure how exactly to use it to transfer PC files to the PS3...any tips?

Thanks dude but I've read that guide and I just need to know how to get files onto the PS3 and run them. I'm not at the challenge lobby part yet. One of the steps says run ftp server on the PS3, but I can't get it on there to begin with. I can't get any non-media software onto the PS3. FileZilla is just needed once you run the FTP server I think.

No that's the problem. I looked at the guide and downloaded ftp server, then put in on a flash drive, then put that in PS3 and couldn't find it.

In order to install Ps3 ftp server you have to boot up your ps3 with jailbreak then insert your usb and after that you will be able to install it ps3 ftp server and tell me if this works for you.

Yeah that's kinda the biggest problem...I haven't technically jailbroken yet.

The way I am gonna do it is through this jailbreak software that I downloaded onto the usb drive, and then I just need to run it on the PS3...the problem is that I either can't or don't know how to copy non-media files to my PS3 from a PC. I click the storage device on the PS3 and it says no files were found. Any help?

Yeah thats your biggest problem right there is that you havent jailbroken your ps3 yet and in order to get ps3 ftp server to work you need to jailbreak it.
