I do not post very often on here, I more or less read and research everything.

Let me ask you a question, is it possible to boot the PS3 with the HDD connected through extension cables. Then once its booted disconnect the data cable portion of the drive from the PS3 and attach it to a PC or Laptop? Where as the HDD will be decrypted and still running hence being able to see the decrypted data from your PC or laptop?

As it was pointed out to me by shiver (thank you btw) the PS3 HDD decryption is Real-Time or (on the fly) [YES I WAS STILL COMPELLED TO POST THIS EVEN THOUGH I KNOW THIS]

If anyone figures out a way around this please don't hesitate to add to this.

so you mean when you start a ps3 it decrytpes the whole harddrive?

No, shiver had pointed out to me that the portions that are decrypted are the ones it is using at the time of demand. when you boot up MW2 it decrypts what it needs for that particular program. also known as On The Fly

This question has already answered. IF they release the update at that time it would be at least a week before the clones had it
