Ok so i was thinking since jb is patched(for now) and currently their is no way to downgrade so unless you are one of the lucky few who have jailbroken ps3s your screwed. So what if we used MW2 to help us since we have custom patches that can give anyone on any FW permanent mods and infections on mw2. What if someone made a custom mw2 patch that could mod our system by either downgrading, jailbreaking directly onto 3.50, and or having patches and CFW ready to download and install to our system.

If you think about it makes sense in so many different ways. Let me know what you think and anyone that is good with patch editing please try this.

I must agree with ^^^ that would be impossible if not I'm sure someone like Geohot would have made a Web-Page that we could all go on from our PS3 to downgrade or JB. But I'm glad people are still brain storming ideas.

Ok so what if we didnt use it for downgrading but for jailbreaking on 3.50

Problem is the "DEV" or "DEBUG" mode that lets you JB F.W. 3.41 was taken out of 3.42 & 3.50 so unless another method is found out it would be damm near impossible.

... and xcellerator i just read your thread and it gave me another idea since downgrading and jailbreaking is not possible like this what if we used it to load a CFW

theory are all good, but maybe do more research on what you are proposing and maybe et someone to test it out then post it just there are loads of theory around but nice thinking dude perhaps explain simpler for those people out there that dont get you lmao. we need a 3.50 jailbreak

If you did this then how would you get the patch on the ps3 to upload to mw2 without a jailbreak?.. This thread is a FAIL! But nice try though.
