my patches dont work. it even sais that i cant pick from the bonus maps (not that i have them) but i want to host the lobbies :O

The only way to get a hacked patch on an un-jailbroken ps3 is through a data transfer, but dont bother, because;

I have a guy on my friends list who made over $1700 from CL. He bought a Jailbroken ps3, new TV and a spare ps3 with the money he made. He says the Black Ops engine will be a copy of mw2, making it similar to hack. As soon as its released, he reckons he will be editing patches in no time.

So sending off your Ps3 now to get a patch for an old game is dumb. You are better off buying a Jailbreak or a new PS3, to mod patches for BO... You will make more money. Then again, I am 95% sure BO will have Jailbreak-breaking software on it, so we will be waiting for even longer.

1.black ops is on a new engine treyarch confirmed it
2.its Treyarch no IW they encrypt there patches
3.They ban people for hacking you can even report in game
4.they have stated its also im possible to hack they say they have encrypted alot more than WAW and not many people will manage to do that
5.You cant get the patch on your Jb ps3 cause BO wont play without Fw 3.50
6.sony arnt retarded they know the DTU is the last line for hackers and they will stop you transferring till youve updated patch
so if you managed to get the old patch on ur jb ps3,hacked it, then DTu it you would then get banned from BO matchmaking.Some one might hack it but they would get banned and alll the people that used it stats would be reset.I mean they still do it 4 waw
