There are many ways to Jailbreak you PS3, wether using the original You must login or register to view this content. dongle, a You must login or register to view this content. (PS3Key is a very good clone) or your You must login or register to view this content.dongle.
On this tutorial I'll show you how to make your OWN dongle using many different devices (Phones, MP3 Players, etc). Let's get started

iPhone 2G/3G or iPod Touch 1G
Since this is a very common device many people has i'll start with it.
Note: The method for the iPod Touch is more complex, follow You must login or register to view this content..

Requeriments:

• An iDevice (iPhone 2G/3G or iPod Touch 1G)
  
• Firmware iOS 3.1.2/4.0.0/4.0.1/4.0.2
  
• A PS3 on version 3.41 (Only)

1. Download iPhodroid (Download is on "Requeriments") for 2G or 3G (Download the one for your corresponding iDevice).
2. Unzip the package
3. Plug in your iPhone into your computer (Make sure iTunes is closed)
4. Open iPhodroid and click "Shoot!"
5. Wait untill it finishes; when it's finished you'll the the "OpeniBoot" screen on your iDevice, click on "Install" and wait untill it's finished (It may take 10 mins.)
6. When it's finished select the Android option and wait untill you see the penguin and loads of "INIT" lines. (You had to Turn off your PS3 from the power device and turn it back on before this).
7. Click on the Power button, and then fastly click on the Eject button.
8. Congratulations you've just booted on Jailbroken Mode.

Note: If when you select iOS it takes you to Recovery Mode Open iPhodroid again and click on "Exit Recovery mode".

iPod (No Touch)
Now i'll tell you the guide for many iPod Devices.

Requeriments:

• An iPod 5G (Video), iPod Nano 1G, iPod 4G Photo, iPod 4G Grayscale or iPod Mini 2G
  
• A PS3 on version 3.41 (Only)

1. Download RockBox-PSGroove Installer (Download is on "Requeriments").
2. Unzip the package
3. Plug in your iPhone into your computer (Make sure iTunes is closed)
4. Open RockBox-PSGroove Installer, then go to "Settings" and set the Directories.
5. Next, go to "iPL Installer" and select "Install iPL (Default)".
6. Then go to "PSGroove Installer" and select your Device, then click "Install PSGroove".
7. Reboot your iPod (Hold Play and Select).
8. A new menu shall appear, select PSGroove (You had to Turn off your PS3 from the power device and turn it back on before this).
9. When you see the text "RockBox" click on the Power button, and then fastly click on the Eject button.
10. Congratulations you've just booted on Jailbroken Mode.

I didn't really understand much of that but all I know is that I have thease: Sony Ericsson W995 , Blackberry curve 8520, iPod touch 2nd gen 16gb. Could I jailbreak with any of those?

ok so i have PS3 version 3.50
is there anyway i can remove those and get 3.41 ?

I tried using this on my ipod video 5g and I get an error message every time saying it couldn't find some certain files I really want to do this so if you can help me then thanks.
