But it's not a problem anymore.
Spanish hacker maquina07 has figured out a way to bypass the need for the newer firmware.
He hasn't released a tutorial yet, but has released complete proof that this works: You can download this PARAM.SFO and use it to play the new Medal of Honor game (which requires 3.42) while your PS3 is still running 3.41.

it won't be as easy hacking black ops as the fast files are compressed in a new type of compression file (can't remeber what it was called lol)

U make it sound so simple. Isnt a new upgrade of you Psgroove required? Need to upgrade it to HERMESv or something like that??? Im stuck right now, cant even play MOH on my 3.41 jb ps3. Plz help BTW im using ipod touch 1g for my JB device
