A little bit ago Hermes released a new payload (Hermes v4) with a note saying that he was leaving the PS3 scene.
We can now see that that's untrue.
Today, Hermes posted a new version of his payload, that being Hermes v4b.

4B raw2payload includes a correction for those who use Windows and fixes a stupid mistake I made by copying the files, because the port1_config_descriptor.h port1_config_descriptor.bin and are in fact the V3 version.
If you compiled the .S, have the V4 and if not .. as well, sorry for the failure!
v4B Changes:
raw2payload: changed in fopen “r” and “w” by “rb” and “wb”.
In MSDOS/WINDOWS “r” is for text files and “rb” is for binary files.
If you use MinGW from ifcaro compilers, instead Cygwin or Linux, you need this changes.
Added port1_config_descriptor.h and port1_config_descriptor.bin from V4
(in the V4 release you have ONLY the .S file from V4)
All in all, it seems like the update doesn't effect too many of us. The important note is that Hermes hasn't left us after all =D
