I am in no way a god at hacking but i just got a crazy idea and i wanna see if it can be done.
Ok so heres my theroy. What if we took the HDD out of a PS3 on FW 3.41 and copied all its contents. Then we took the HDD out of a PS3 on FW 3.50 and completely erased everything on it. Then take the data you have from the 3.41 HDD and copied it to the blank 3.50 HDD.
I can't test this as i have no ps3 on fw 3.41.
Also i thought i heard something about the FW being on the NAND drive so if that is true than this is useless. Don't flame me if it is as i am a n00b at this stuff.:O

This is the same theory that I see in every theory thread lol, the firmware is put on a certain part actual ps3 not the HDD meaning this will just wipe your two hdd's and you'll lose all your stuff on them.
