(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have two ps3s one slim, one fat. The fat is at 3.5 and the slim is at 3.41 yesterday i got my jailbreak through the post and it worked fine. Used data transfer utility etc to transfer mw2 stuff to the 3.5. Now the jailbreak just shows both the lights when i try to boot it up on the 3.41. Any ideas why? Thanks for help in advance.

wait i thought u plug jailbreak in when after u take out the power cable of ps3

Try see if the lights work on the FAT one it might be the failure, or the ps3 might need to be reset or somthing like that. Try get a replacement if you can.

How about something as simple as... do u have anything else plugged into the ps3.. eg a controller??

or another usb?

That is not one i have but is it upgradeable? If it is you could try it with a newer firmware. If that dont work or isnt possible i suggest sending it back. Also did you pay £89.99 for it? That is alot of money i paid £45 for this version

If possible i'd return it and buy a cheaper one. If you don't want to return it or can't. Id format the ps3 system. Probably your best bet. Maybe even borrow a friends Iphone/Ipod Touch 1G. Or anything else that can jailbreak the PS3 System. Prefferbly i used an Iphone 3G. It was really easy with Iphone Droid. Still have it on now. Also Check if you updated. Because Firmware 3.41 has an Automatic Download and Install Option Which could of Upgraded your Firmware to 3.42 or later. Well hope you figure out your problem.

Make sure no other controllers are plugged into the PS3 at the same time as the jailbreak device. I had a problem with that before

I have formatted the system tryed again and still the same problem. Tried everything i then chose the contact the retailer. In which they said that it may be because your not using the new backup manager which is ridicules because it actually needs to work to be able to install it. Anyways if anyone still has any ideas will be greatly appreciated while i keep trying to get another one through retailer or something.

Make sure your still on 3.41 fw
