Does anyone have a full tutorial on how to do a ps3 jailbreak using a HTC desire?

as in full, i mean including instructions on how to install opendesire on the phone as well as enabling PSFreedom

Hey Here are the instructions on how to Install PSFreedom onto HTC Hero. Not Written by me. But i Have installed this on my HTC Hero to JB my Ps3. Also Have JB my Ps3 With Iphone.

Below are links to zImage and psfreedom.ko (patched for bdvd).

GSM – You must login or register to view this content.

CDMA – You must login or register to view this content.

Note Android Froyo 2.2 Rom users

You may loose touch screen support so you must try a 2.1 rom. This is not an issue if you use the “Recovery ROM” method.

Note for all users

You will loose Wifi and USB support while the new kernel is running.

Steps

For CDMA Users: install this first

ENG-SPL for the CDMA Hero

1. Copy psfreedom.ko to your sdcard (From the above downloads)

2. Install a terminal emulator from the market

3 Fastboot the zImage (fastboot boot /path/to/zimage/zImage)

4 Once it has booted open the terminal emulator

5 type su

6 type cd /sdcard

7 type insmod psfreedom.ko

8 plug in to ps3 and enjoy

Recovery rom
Recovery rom with the above kernel and module.

GSM – recovery-RA-hero-v1.7.0.1-psfreedom-1.0-bdvd.img (confirmed working!) Backup Mirror

Flash this to your recovery partition. (or fastboot it)

How to here: You must login or register to view this content.

When done, just boot into recovery everytime you need to jailbreak your PS3.

NOTE: This disables ADB and USB Mass-storage on the recovery rom.
