because a friend on ngu was looking for a patch on 3.41 and he said if he found one he would transfer to me, is this possible ?

it's possible if he had the patch on his ps3 while it was jailbroken and then updated to 3.50.

it wont work cuz the patch needs to come from a jb ps3 not from a 3.50 ps3.
