Then i thought maybe we could get a 3.50 firmware file then merge it with a jailbreak hex file in a hex editor and maybe get a 3.42 or lower firmware PS3 Then put the firmware file on a usb then update the 3.42 or lower firmware PS3 and update it via Usb Storage Device Then We Have Jailbroken Firmware ( Custom Firmware )

This whole hex code changing has been shown to not work. Simplily going through hex editor... searching for 3.50 and changing to 3.41...or 3.42(pointless) will not work. Hex editing maybe part of what we need to do... but its not the sole solution.

Im not flaming just there have been many threads posted daily about this..... :/

Honestly you should read more into how and why the overflow exploit works before even attempting to think about how to make it work on 3.50.
