Also why do some people have HDD PORTAL HARD DRIVE WHY DO THEY NEED THIS?

SDK's are free, however are considered illegal. and of course you can jailbreak your ps3. you just need a device that allows you to, a payload on said device, a ps3 with 3.41 and a mind. next time, please search on the forums because many have posted tutorials and such on how to jailbreak the ps3(youtube and google are your friends). hope i answered any questions

SDK's are not free, but they are illegal for the ps3. They have been leaked, that does not make them free. Sony has never released ANY SDK, why? No one knows, but that is their choice.
