Post: HDMI Cable is interfering with Internet connectivity.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK, so i've noticed that when i use composite cables, my internet is much faster, drops connection less, and works 95% of the time.

However, when I switch to my HDMI cable on my HDTV, the internet is hardly working 15% of the time..

I'm using the PS3 Slim 40GB model.... Whats wrong?

your wifi signal strength may be low and when using your composite cables it may act like an antenna slightly boosting your signal and speed. and the reason why the hdmi cable is not acting like this is because the signals in the hdmi cable are digital and RF interference does not affect digital signals + the hdmi cable may have better RF shielding. that would be my guess based on your post.

Get closer to your router or use a patch cable.
