Post: [Theory] Patching games via ps3 proxy
11-12-2010, 03:27 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Could it be possible to edit the program "ps3 proxy" to handle patch_mp.ff rather than .pkg files? Would this be a plausible method of getting a patch onto the ps3 for game modification?

Don't flame. This is only a theory, hence the title.

tell me how exactly you plan to download only the patch_mp.ff because as far as i know if it was possible to do that then everyone on this site would have an orgasm right now

I dont understand what you're asking?

I doubt it.

Proxies are used to connect to the internet. Not to update files. No file transmission is undergone during the proxy process.

Nice idea, but its kind of blatantly far-fetched.

you'd still have to get the modded patch_mp.ff in a SIGNED pkg..
which brings us back to zero
