Post: Gran Turismo 5 compiled with SDK 3.30

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Everybody is waiting for Gran Turismo 5 to arrive. But the biggest problem for us jailbreakers will be the requirement for Firmware 3.50. There where some rumors that Sony delayed Gran Turismo 5 and recompiled the game with the 3.50 SDK, to make it difficult to run for us jailbreakers. But a member over at the PS3Hax forums got his hands on a early release and took a peek in the eboot.bin and confirmed it was compiled with 3.30 SDK!

To look for the SDK which is made just look on the eboot.bin with your hex editor of choice and search for either of these strings:

3300001 – for 3.30
3410001 – for 3.41
3420001 – for 3.42
3500001 – for 3.50

I might have used a 0 or two than it was supposed, but is sumthing along those lines.

Its been made with SDK 3.30 im guessing as it found 3300001 straight away in the hex coding

So with a bit of luck and some skilled people we might be running Gran Turismo in a day or two. Hopefully Sony didn’t place too much security checks.

Then Why is it posted at ps3hax??

what? that it has 3.30?

well it dont. ive also posted alot there
ime going of the 19GB USA edition
EU is 13GB

they mite be diffrent but i dont think so
