You can jailbreak your ps3 if you downgraded but you must have the actual psjailbreak dongle from the first jailbreaks, here is the site and just buy the psjailbreak because they just released today that you will be able to downgrade unlimited amount of times and downgrading software will come with the ps jailbreak now.
