(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey everybody, i have a ps3 running on 3.50 firmware as of today but i am requierd to do a system update before i can play online (3.55). Now i have a patch for mw2 lobbys that was transferd over from my freinds jailbroken ps3 using the data transfer utility running on 3.41. So i was just wondering if i updated to 3.55 would i lose my patch?

Also heres my theory on maybe getting it to work, this a lose theory so bare with me.

1. Get my freind to update to 3.55 firmware
2.transfer my data from my 3.50 on to his running 3.55
3.update my ps3 to 3.55
4. transfer data back to mine now running 3.55

Anyone whos tried updating or maybe wants to give my theory ago (not sure at all if it will work), or knows anything about this matter please get back to me.

no u wont lose the patch i have just updated and still got my patch

Were you running on 3.50 firmware then updated to 3.55?
