True that! Buddy of mine just picked up a brand new Slim and it had 3.40 on it, so we jailbroke it in about oh 5 seconds of extra boot time.

People need to remember jailbreaking isn't permanent like the old school mod chip. All it basically does is bypasses the bootloader to allow you to run unsigned code.

LOl glad i read your post i was about to say the same thing.

Makes me laugh when i see people asking for jailbroken ps3s

you cant buy a jailbroken ps3 cause you have to put in jailbreak mode everytime u want it to be jailbroken so your best bet is just 3.41 i got mine from wal-mart came with 3.40 upgraded using usb
