I remember hearing a while back that there is some way on a jailbroken ps3 to access PSN in order to play my LEGAL games online w/ out updating to latest firmware (3.55 atm). Is this possible? And if not on 3.41, is there a trick to get PSN for 3.50? And if not, would you recommend staying on 3.41 and w8ing until it is? I only have 1 PS3, so it will only be a matter of time until I get bored of hacks and want online again, where I would get stuck on 3.55 where there is no downgrade.

alright let me just get one thing clear.. this bypass ONLY WORKS FOR 3.50. Set your DNS and Secondary DNS to: 67.202.81.137 this will alow you to bypass 3.55 update.. for now. Anyway, why use this and how this comes convenient? well if your no nub and know how to jailbreak & downgrade u can easily downgrade from 3.50 and install modded patches for games (besides mw2/bo/waw, if you know what your doing ) then just update and enjoy playing online, following up with a downgrade if you want to mod anything.. NOTE: DOWNGRADING WIPES YOUR HOLE HDD (I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY)

im about to downgrade my ps3 from 3.50 to 3.41 and i am going to save up some $$$ to buy and second ps3 cause my second 1 broke thats gay so yea buy a new ps3 and transfer ur patches to the new 1

Thanks for the help so far, but I need 1 thing clarified: did Sony block PSN access from 3.41 users with the payload that was supposed to grant PSN access? Also I thought that the DNS always trick stopped working a few days after a new firmware release...
