Just download the 3.50 PS3UPDATE.PUP and put in on a USB Stick with the folders PS3 and then UPDATE and put it in there (it is capital-sensitive).

Then on ur ps3, just go to system update --> update through usb stick or something.

it will work as long as your not in service mode

I downgraded 2 days ago and updated to 3.50 this way. You can always downgrade back to 3.41 again, but you will have to do it all over again. But yes, it will work.
