I was wanting to get a 3.41 ps3 as me and my friends are bored of BO and I have some questions

1. Is it true downgrading/jailbreaking stops your ps3 being able to play blu rays?

2. Is it better to buy a ps3 specifically for jb or to just downgrade one I have left on 3.50 (considering I would probably have to upgrade it again after, and it would wipe all our gamesaves etc)?

3. Is it easy to put downgrade on a PSJ clone or is it better to just buy the officail PSJ?
