But heres the problem, the DNS hack or glitch used to play online from FW 3.50 no longer works.

So I'm coming home ready to test out the new title update for black ops(Qs'ing is back!!) but I can't sign in.
I knew that the dns glitch wouldn't work someday and it turns out today is that day...

However when I went to go download FW3.55 it said I had the current FW. I was confused as hell for a couple min and then I realized the dns glitch was probably blocking it somehow.

So I put dns settings back to auto and I was able to download 3.55 and sign back in.


Just wanted to share with you because I'm guessing some of you will be just as confused as I was.

Did the EXACT same. Although now I've ran into another problem. My modded MW2 patches don't work online. Always tries to force host when joing a public match and my connection is shit so it never does find a lobby. Also doesn't allow others to join me and vice versa. And the only reason for this that I can think of is that possibly you can't use the debug default_mp.self (I had a debug one to allow 11th prestige). Gona try deleting patch and try a normal one.:/

yeah the 11th prestige default_mp.self causes problems joining your friends games and its hard to even find a game!

haha fail by me, updated to 3.55 with all my modded patch backups containing the 11 prestige .self file/facepalm

Can i make a suggestion? Tell people you will do a 11th prestige hack for them. You need to sign into their account tho on your ps3

I had thought about that. Might start up a service on here. Free for premiums and £3 for non-premiums. Thanks
