Trying to downgrade my Ps3, but dont want to lose Bluray playback. All I've seen is that it only breaks on Phat models. Can anyone verify?

This is a simple fix if you backed up your flash. If you have your /dev_flash3/
on your pc BEFORE downgrading then start a FTP server and replace /dev_flash3/ with the one from your pc and the problem is fixed.
