I have a modded dual shock and yes it does work with CoD WaW... However the 17 shots a second I was told it would do was wrong. What has been done in the case of my controller is the old CoD4 chips that shoots about 30x a second has had more resistors and stuff added to the board that slows it down the CoD limit, which is (don't quote me on this) 7x a second. I can show anyone who requires it proof of this.

So I can get anyone a modded controller that shoots 7x a second in the UK.

HOWEVER...

I've been in contact with someone from America and been on PS with him to show me his chip. Unlike the bloke over here the chip isn't just a simple way of making the current pulse (that causing the shots) slower to the CoD limits. This is a PIC that is programmed by him. Anyway as he knows what the patch is looking for (clever sod) he's worked out a way around the patch and it does shoot 20x a second. I've seen it and it's WAY fast and there's no block down to 1x after you unload a round! His chip also makes it so you can turn off your ps3 controller and set it back to cod4 mode the old 30x a second!

My chip is on order and will be with me in roughly a weeks time, so keep posted and I post my results.

Oh and before anyone flames me for this, it's not just a means of cheating for me, I used to make the modded controllers for CoD4, so I'm doing this to possibly resell in the UK.

Good to hear! Keep me updated please, I would love to have some turbo action back and hopefully it will work on MW2 as well. My horipad is collecting dust. I live in US, but like I said keep me updated plz.
