In my game it says that I do not have any of the map packs. But under my game data under the xmb, the data for the games are large enough to hold all of the map packs. I did downgrade my ps3, but all of the data is still there. My theory is that my map packs are not activated now because of my "fresh" restart of my ps3. I am on fw 3.55. If I download the maps again will it erase my hacked patches?

But I had to edit each maps .ff file. I i re download the maps my hack .ff file will be gone?

Your .ff shouldn't be overwritten.

I have three edited .ff files. each one for each zombie map....

Sorry I didnt elaborate enough, but I had to go but Im back now. I'll explain why it will not be overwritten:

The patch_mp.ff is for the patch 1.11. When you download the map packs, its adding onto the patch, not reinstalling it so that it'll be on the original settings.
Does it make sense? If not I can try to explain it better.

Instead of wasting one of your downloads just deactivate your ps3 and then reactivate it.
