Hi There ...
I Followed ChrisTechTV's Tutorial On Jailbreaking With An E3 Card Reading On Thursday And Was Successfull.
You Say You Didnt Downgrade. So You Should Be On 3.41. (Correct)?
What Package File Are You Trying To Install ?
You Are Most Likely To Be Trying To Install PS3 FTP Server ? (Just A Guess) In Whick You Use A Regular USB Stick. Or For Most Package Files You Use a USB Stick. Just Copy And Paste The Package File You Are Trying To Install Onto The Regular USB From a Computer And Insert Into PS3 - (Presuming You Have Been Successfull In Jailbreaking And You Are In Jailbreak Mode) Then Go To * Install Package Files * And From There You Will See What You Transfered To The USB From The PC. So In Step By Step Terms:
1) Jailbreak The PS3.
2) Make Sure The Install Package Files Folder Is There. (This Means You Have Successfully Jailbroken).
3) Transfer Whatever Package File You Are Trying To Use On To A Regular/Normal USB Stick Via PC.
4) Insert Into PS3 And Your Package File Should Be In: * Install Package Files * Folder.
5) From There You Can Press X And Install That Particular Package File.

I have succesfully installed manger but FTP will not can you find an ftp for e3
