(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm planning on Jailbreaking my PS3, Sadly it's on 3.55. So let me explain before any flaming start's. My Laptop HDD Crashed on me a couple week's ago and is undergoing repair, and i had my Spare PS3 HDD (YLOD on Fat) so i took it and formatted it to work.

My Question is ... Is there a way i can clean up this Hard Drive, put it in the PS3 and install 3.50 and jailbreak it? Because it will be 100% empty and no content will be stored.

PS3 Statics:

PS3 Version: 3.55
PS3 Model: Slim
PS3 HDSad Awesome Toshiba (Stock)
PS3 HDD Size: 250GB (Stock)

Please leave a comment below telling me if this is possible, if it is then i will host Free MW2 Challenge lobbies for everyone.

Thank's,

so going out and purchasing a new Hard drive wouldn't even work either eh? Is there something stopping the PS3 from going under 3.50 even though the hard drive with 3.55 is out and a new one is in?

I heard that there's an unstable way to downgrade via Geohot's CFW, but I wouldn't advise doing it. The topic is probs still floating around under the new Backup Manager CFW...
