yes its possible of course, u can data transfer form 3.41 to 3.55, but U CAN NOT data transfer from 3.55 to 3.41, it would ask you to update your 3.41 ps3

So this means u can data transfer from a lower firmware to any firmware which is higher or as high
but u can not data transfer from a hihger firmware to a lower firmware.

yes its possible i just data transfered Karoolus Mod Menu patch its works.. just dont Data Transfer when your jailbroken sometime it corrupts your data happened to me twice

It works fine, if you can't get it to start you can try disabling the internet connection in the xmb on both, and then rebooting both (the instructions tell you to do this)

The first time I tried it wouldn't work, so I did that and it worked. Now I don't disable anything or even restart them and it works fine.
