Okay, before i provide any help, what is your reason for writing to the flash?

I just want to edit my intro sound and that's pretty much it. I have the files for the intro set but i can't get write access with the payload i have. The apps "Mount_Alejandro" or "FreeFlash" don't work for me because of this.

And are you using PL3 or Hermes?
And you have the Evo 4G right?

Yes i have the Evo 4G, As for PL3 or Hermes......idk lol the payload im using is labeled "3.41.bin" and i don't even remember where i got that .bin from.

Ok i downloaded the .zip file, Inside of it is three files which of them will get me to my goal? "Default_payload_3.41.bin" "payload_dev_3.41.bin" or "payload_no_unauth_syscall_3.41.bin" OR do i keep them in the zip and use it that way? lol

I'm not exactly sure, But i think you just take one of those .bins and replace your 3.41.bin with it

Just tried it out, Doesn't work because i can't spoof the firmware without the dev_flash apps having a fit about it lol
