(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok. i have found a ps3 but it dosn't read discs. but will i still be able to put the hacks on that one then data transfer onto my 3.55 ps3?

Assuming MW2 patches, you cannot. You need the disk to install the patch and then transfer via Ftp server and whatnot.

No, because You have to delete MW2 Patch 1.11 & start up MW2, The Download 1.11

You Can't Start up MW2 If It Won't Read Discs...

what if i installed mw2 to backup manager. will i be able to then?

Well you need to jailbreak your ps3 for it to be able to install backup manager, and therefore you need it to be on 3.41 firmware. So that wont work either. But i guess you could just use data transfer to transfer the patch to your 3.55 device. But you would still of course need a jailbroken device.

yeah. i know it needs to be 3.41 and jailbroken. but i was just wondering. would i still be able to put modded patches onto my 3.55 ps3 from the 3.41 . (disc drive is broken)

Well yeah you can put modded patches on your device using data transfer. But let me get this straight, which ps3 has a broken disc device?

I'm not sure if backup managers block patches or not, but in theory, it should work. It's a good idea, give it a try.
