Hey, soo............I've been trollin the forums a while now trying to understand all this stuff you guys are talking about, Ive put Homebrew on my Wii so I thought, how hard could JB a ps3 be? long story short, it basically allows you to use programs NOT signed by sony. currently all programs on a unbroken ps3 are only signed by apps that sony approve off however this now changes that. hope i helped!

I get that part, but what I don't understand is the tools used, for Example, The wii is just an SD card with some files, pretty simple.

From what I gather, the items used on the ps3 need the ability to run multiple tasks at once in able to bypass the system and do all that fancy mumbo jumbo, I want to get the E3 Card reader (Found a chinese site? Any link to a place to buy a lagit one would be awesome).
So with the files I put on the E3 Card reader I boot the ps3 in service mode and that allows me to put in items such as Home brew (not used in 3.55 I guess doesn't matter just an example) What I'm MOST interested in is Torrented games, and how they would be used and what I would need to do to my ps3

so how do we sign elfs made from the pslight sdk and enable them to be for use on the 3.55 firmware??

i hope someone makes a signed custom firmware with these features built-in:y:
