for sony it wouldnt be possible to detect cutom firmware unless they release a firmware update that contains a secret custom firmware detecter

I Doubt Sony Will Be Able To Find Out If We Have Cfw,Becuase We Can Just Edit The Original Update.PUP,Sign It With The Keys,Then Sony Will Just Think Its A Regular Update From Them = No Ban

you will be able to do that very soon because they have released pkg's sign code which is very very bad. i dont want it to work lol

if u do decide to do it just be careful and make sure the homebrew ur downloading is a stealth pkg because they will take away ur online rights away now. don't forget the terms and conditions changed.

i think you gota open up a PKG and the contents inside using fail0verfl0ws tools and then sign one of the keys

but dont you think sony know about the keys being swapped? how do you know sony might have somthing wit the bytes changing on the keys. they might have an age check the code being edited was like 2006 and then you edit the code and it says 2011 then there might be that age checker then they would know u edited :angel:
