I would say it's worth it because when it's jailbroken you can do so much more with the PS3. The only downside to jailbreaking is that you can't play online. But if you're not worried about online then I would suggest doing it. But with the new cfw on it's way, I don't know what it'll allow but yeah jailbreak it
