Best option for a 3.50 system ?

I have a PS3 slim model which is in version 3.50. Recently I've bought a PS Jailbreak dongle. The stich arrive today and now I'm in doubt with all these news about the 3.55 CFW. What I would lile to ask is : Which way do you think is a better solution to play backups/homebrew ?

1) Downgrade to 3.41 (I'm presuming that as my model is the slim I'm not risking to lose the bluray movies playback ability) and then use the Jailbreak dongle ?

2) Wait until the 3.55 CFW have a signed FTP Server and the ability to install/play backups ?

One more time , thanks in advance for the opinions.

if i was you, i would downgrade and get the 3.41 CFW. since you can update straight to 3.55, i dont think getting the lower firmware would be a problem. that way, you could still use the jailbreak until they get all the signed ftp's and things out. after that, its up to you.

3.55, I heard you lose your bluray playback ability when you downgrade. It won't be long until everything is signed for 3.55
