(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys, recently my blueray drive got currupted from the CFW.to fix this problem you will need to open the system menu(forgot what the name was lol)

1.hold the ps3 power button down till your ps3 turns off.

2.repeat #1 again and it should double beep, now wait for the menu to load.

3.click #2 in the menu and click ok to everything,it should restart ur ps3 and ask you "do you want to continue" press yes

4.it should reboot again and now you can play games from disks, and ur done!

P.S: IT WILL NOT TOUCH ANY FILES ON UR PS3,IT DOESNT DELETE ANYTHING!

Your Blu-ray drive got "corrupted" because you downgraded to a firmware that doesn't have the required files to operate the drive, also there is times when downgrading/messing with Firmware will delete said files. Or I could be wrong entirely and its hardware issue.

you sure you used the same cfw file as the firmware you was originally on ?
it could be that if you used the wrong cfw file.
