Basically due to the MASS amount of people with problems I've created this thread, feel free to post any problems you have and I can help you fix them. I also answer questions about the CFW itself and .pkg files and progress of FTP server etc.

I have also downloaded and installed teamviewer, so I can help you using that, but you'll need to download it too.

Any problems posted after this I will get to in the morning as it's late where I live now, PM me or just post here :whistle:.

when i download a ps3 game from my computer there is a lot of rar files what do i do with all of them?

i'm having problems during the backup of GT5.
i got the wanikoko CFW 3.55, and rogeros mananger 7.8.
the insue is: i put the game for backup, and stats normaly, after 40 minutes it freezes on 99%.
it stops on: /dev_bdvd/PS3_UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP
that is the name of the file i'm having problems.
so, any help is very wellcome...

They are probably part files. If they are, just extract one of them and they will go to the same folder.

Ok, yesterday I downloaded geohot's homebrew with pupdata files etc and installed it onto my ps3, the ps3 is now hacked and i have the new folder to install .pkg files. I've downloaded one FF13 Gil hack so everything's fine atm. Now I want to backup games onto the PS3 but I have no idea how? can someone please help, do i haveto but the USB Jailbreak dongle thing for like £70 or is there an alternative solution? if there is can you please explain it
