(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just a headsup that doesn't necessarily mean the CFW won't be released, technically kakaroto never released his CFW, what he did release were tools, basically the files he gave made an Official Firmware into a custom firmware by downloading the files, downloading an official firmware and putting it in the same folder in it.

After that all you had too do was type ./create_cfw.sh PS3UPDATE.PUP CFW.PUP into a command prompt and it would create the custom firmware and save it in that folder for you if you were on linux, this was ALL on linux BTW(kakarotos' tool), and kakaroto only ever released the one tool which was for linux rather than a pre-made CFW itself, so maybe geohot is releasing a mac/ windows version and a linux version of a tool to make his CFW?

Who knows, I might be wrong completely. Anyways, the reason they do that with the create the CFW yourself is so that 1) It's not breaking any laws, and 2) So you can do it on any firmware version.

If you have any ideas on what these two tools that geohot apparently has/making might be then feel free to post.

In that screen shot he mentions "make_self_npdrm" and "package_finalize" between your first and second lines. Could these be a clue?
