First off I'm a bit of a NOOB when it comes to unpacking & packing .pkg files and signing them & i'm using a mac so I have less access to the necessary tools..

First of we had KaKaroto's CFW which allowed us to install signed .pkg's. Now everyone is onto Geohots Firmware which I also have installed on my PS3, when i installed this like everyone else I thought I could install any .pkg file but you cannot.

I was on EFNET chat but i couldn't even speak because its a private chat and geohot was in there.. the chat subject had a few links that I thought might be use to others..

I have removed the Keylist because apparently Geohot doesn't want the public to have it & i'm sure this for a reason, if your a serious coder send me a msg and i'll link you to it..

UPDATE - Apparently Geohot is against Piracy so no Backup manager - I wanted this to backup my own games not pirated ones.. anyways check what the guy said below this..

I hope this helps someone to make a Working backup manager because all these Leeches are complaining all over NGU "WHERES A SIGNED FTP PKG" Just so they can host MW2 Lobbies etc.. :O

dam i dont know how many times ive said this backup manager will not work on Geohots or KaKaroto's CFW they are against PIRACY they dont wanna get a lawsuit so they did not allow the CFW allow backup manager now if you want one spend your time on doing one that will alow it
