If you every time press the power button on the PS3 instead of the PS button on the controller, then congratulations - you're the one who doesn't use common sense.

LMFAO! They should really read the tut on how to do this. It even says it will beep 9 times. Well Geohots 3.55 Jailbreak does not brick your ps3 period. Thanks for posting this.

or maybe it's because my PS3 controller been broken for some time and ive been using my PS2 controller on my PS3??

Exactly. It doesn't brick the PS3 but some people after attempting to turn the PS3 on fails and for them it's clear that the PS3 got "bricked".

Well, most people doesn't use PS2 controller on the PS3.

I know that, BUT there are people who DOESN'T know it and they think it "bricked" their PS3. I can't believe you people still don't get it why I posted this thread.

In my eyes thats a small amount of people who dont get it. When i jailbroke it turned my ps3 right back on as instinct, no thoughts of the word bricked ever ran through it...

So if your PS3 restarted automatically or you started it from the controller like always while mine and few of my friends didn't, (needed press power button on the PS3) then there gotta be some difference between PS3s and this thread is for people whose PS3 didn't turn on after pressing the PS button on the controller.
