If that is the case, will all CURRENT homebrew work on geohots firmware? Or does it all need to be re-coded so it's a 3.55 version instead of 3.41... Would be nice if someone could just clear me up here as i can't decide whether to install it just yet.

so .. all the homebrew out there wont work at the moment cause u ll need geos tools... he'll bring them out soon.... i think ull need them to sign the homebrew by HIM ... cause his fw should bypass sonys sign... idk and im not to familiar with that but i think thats why well need his tools.... but at this point of time theres no working homebrew for his cfw.... he needs to bring out his tools first than were going to be able to run every homebrew cause we can sign it with his tools

So what you are saying is Geohot has made it so we have to sign all apps with a code from him? Does that not mean that any homebrew released will only work on Geohots custom firmware & not any other custom firmware?

geohots firmware will install things that are coded his way.....he will be releasing tool to do that

yes ... if u sign that homebrew with his tools than it should only work with his fw... I THINK imm not too sure about that :confused:
