The last I heard Geohot was making a CFW to stop checking for Sony signature instead of signing the PKG. Or did he change his mind? :D

Yea if he is speaking the truth then wouldnt that mean packages like an emulator or the notorious 'ftp' server stay on our ps3's when sony release newer firmwares? Hmm i hope your not lieing, but i do have one thing. If this is the big 'downfall' of the ps3, wouldnt sony just majorly buff up the security and offer an online subscription service (basically xbox live)

signed = runs on official firmware... so why ask for prove, clealy anyone should know that surely??

Yeah, it's signed... why do you think everyone wants his tools? And all his CFW does is add the 'Install Package Files" so that you can install them, and I think it also bypasses Sony's signature or something.

You don't make sense. He would either bypass the signature check or sign the PKG. No need for both. BTW he also made piracy impossible on his CFW unless someone edits it and unblocks the syscalls.

Yeah I know, but apparently his test.pkg doesn't work on other CFW and in the video he said that he added something to bypass the signatures. But FTP or any other unsigned .pkgs don't work lol.

i am making two new videos now proving that the test does install and work... plus see if it works on ofw 3.55
