I Jailbroke Using Kakaroto CFW
I tried to put geohot on but my ps3 beeped 3 times then shut down.
How can i get Geohot CFW on MY PS3

-install the original 3.55 fw from sony again#
-install geos 3.55 fw

U Download The OFFICAL 3.55 Updat Pup
Then Download Geos 3.55 update.pup

1. Format usb stick
2. create folder PS3/UPDATE/
3. download You must login or register to view this content.and put it in update folder on ur stick.
4. turn of playstation and put usb in
5. go to system update and select "from media"
6. install it / put geo's on stick / system update / install. done.

Steps:
Firstly re-update your PS3 to the original Sony 3.55 Firmware just to be safe and then...
1.Plug in USB, and format it to FAT32.
2.Create a folder inside the USB called PS3 then make another folder inside PS3 called UPDATE.
3.Put GEOHOT's CFW in the UPDATE folder on your USB.
4.Plug in your USB to the PS3, and go to System Update>Update via storage media.

Done

tried it and now all it says is install package files. i put the Geohot test in my pen drive and it says nothing in install package files

I personally havnt tested that test.pkg file.
I did try a demo and it workes flawless (logical)
There is a Snes Emu on this forum, try that one.
Put it on the root of your usb...
So like;
PS3 <- which contains UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP
test.pkg
It should detect it

I did it, I changed the firmware for the sony, geohot´s cfw installed(jailbreak), I threw in the directory of the pach mw2 (30,377 - userdir), but could not open the Chalenge lobby.
When I got the info system, was no longer 3.55-jb but only 3.55.

Anyone know what might have gone wrong? Thanks.
