(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was wondering if someone could supply information on decrypting/modifying the eboot.bin or .self file. I am looking to create some mods and I'd appreciate a point in the right direction. Obviously I opened the files with a hex editor to see if I could see ANYTHING useful, I could not. I tried following 1 tutorial I read but I got
invalid 00000008
pno error
^ Or something similar.
I am trying to not be a leech and to actually learn some stuff for myself. Therefor I would really appreciate any help.

:y: Awesome. So Ill help you. We cant decrypt the eboot or self files because they are nrpdm files. Ive been looking into it all night. I have some other methods, but nothing solid.

Do you have any method that produces somewhat useful content? Just fishin in the dark son, just finishin in the dark.

I assume you're looking at the Black Ops crap?

I've already done that, and when I sign the elf, it loads and such, but just lags with a black screen (Can tell because I press the PS button to open the xmb in-game)
