(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'am on the original firmware of 3.55, I just needed to know do I have to downgrade my PS3 to 3.41 or 3.50 before putting geohotz cfw or can I just save his cfw file to a memory and update like that with out downgrading?

U need just to put Geohoots's CFW on USB Flash.U don't need to downgrade or something.

Once upon a time...

NextGenUpdate

No you put his files on your usb stick
1.Then you create a folder called PS3
2.Then you create another folder inside the PS3 folder called UPDATE
3.Put Geohots files in there
4.Go to update then update from usb
DONE
