what if when you connected to PSN it downloaded a patch(without you knowing) to disable "Update from storage media" and it installed it's self when you switched off your ps3, i mean this would stop CFW seeming as we need "Update from storage media" to do it
just a theory i just thought of

That's illegal it your hdd and they have to warn you about what they put on it.
