(80029567) when installing packages

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I just jailbroken my ps3 on 3.55 firmware :tits:
but theres a program like when I install packages like homebrew or backup manger or anything it just doesnt work its just give me a (80029567) error when ever I try to download the package
Has this ever happened to anyone if so what you do to fix it or what is the proper way to install files
:note: the test.pgk file was the only one that worked on my ps3

i got the same problem i´m on KaKaRoTo 3.41.
i could not install any signed pkg file. i always get the 80029567 error...
do i really need to update to 3.55 in order get pkg. to install?

you need the right .pkg file you dont have the signed ftp u need the signed ftp

jailbroken 3.55 DONT SUPPORT ALL HOMEBREW APLICATIONS! Only some of them work so why you guys post so stupid things... if that .pkg is for 3.42 so work only with that! 3.55 is not that same like 3.42 anyway to run the new backup manager you need in other way install edited firmware... first you need that what unlock poke and syscalls and then geohot jailbreak

i did try for example the snes emu for 3.41 (i have the KaKaRoTo 3.41 installed) which seems to be signed for 3.41. but i still get the 80029567 error.

ok i figured out how to do it put your ps3 in recovery mode and update the syetem back to the original sony/ps3 3.55 firmware then after that reinstall geohot how you normally would and it should work its how i fixed my error Smile

i got the same problem (geohot 3.55) then i looked for certified packages and it worked! hope this helped:pedo::420:

It means that you are installing the wrong version for your ps3 u just downloaded the wrong one it happens to me all the time

I think you are following a guide on another forum. There it says something about UP0001-gametitleid_00-0000111122223333.pkg

You should ALWAYS use the 00 after the gametitleid like this: gametitleid_00-0000111122223333.pkg

In the guide is a small typo where it says gametitleid_01 <-- That 1 should be a 00.

After that, it should work Winky Winky
